Absurdly overpowered skills like Ursan, Ether Renewal or Shadow Form should just be nerfed (balanced). Their presence only hurts the game as a whole turning it degenerate.

EDIT: and to people saying there's no economy in GW -- Wrong! Ofcourse there IS an economy and ofcourse it's uncomparably simplier than any real world economies, even much simplier than in most other mmos, but you can't deny it's existance and importance in GW.

the price of ecto has remained constant since the crash following the duping era errrrrr an undocumented update fixing a minor exploit, even with a bazillion minutes of favor allowing for nonstop farming. Waves of W/Rt's have been replaced by A/E - switching one never fail build for another. Prices are dropping on everything that isn't limited in supply (rare minis etc) - welcome to a game thats 3 years old.

on the bright side, if this keeps up, raptors may be moved off of the endangered species list until the Dragon Festival.

Ectos price is at 4,8K at trader now... I've seen so many people trying to liquidate their ectos it's not even funny... I managed to sell mine for 21e/100K which is what I had paid for these a few weeks ago...

indeed. The economy is now dead because it has become easyier to get rich. Bull shit. Throughout history people have always tried to repress the new rich. And 50ectos in 10 hours is up from thepesvious average, but not by a ton.

Me and some guildies were talking about this while we were farming.

Sure, it has dropped a tiny bit, but i honestly don't think they will go lower than 4k, maybe not even 4.5k.....People usually buy their ectos from people, not traders, so the trader's price never really changes.

I think it's fine now, plus it actually gives me something to do that i haven't done before.

There's two things that can happen (plz note I didn't read any post, only like the blodded part of the OP's part) 1) ecto market is gonna crash 2) Peps gonna see ectos for low price then their gonna buy and increase. And I'm betting if we wait another 3 days shards prices will be 2k again. And if this is right then basically Ecto+Shards is gonna constantly going high and low. My bet is on #2.

i don't know. i think it has potential to plummet, but don't think it will. the only reason people farm ectos is for prestige armor/armor pieces or a trading commodity.

most people won't sell ectos to the trader just because there's always someone willing to buy them for a little more than the trader will give. with the SF buff, though, people can get them easier and faster than ever so they may start heading to the trader for the simple convenience of it.

hell what you should stock up on is superior shadow arts runes. try finding one of those right now.

I don't get it..... Hundreds of W/Rt have been farming ectos for how long now? Well over a year+..... We've also had 30k minutes of favor who other people said "ZOMG WE HAVE FAVOR ALL THE TIME ECTOS ARE GONNA BE WORTH NOTHING!"

I will bet my account on the price of ectos going up a little after the 48 gazzilion minutes of favor are over. We started at what 40k minutes and now are down to 7k. Wait it out and the price will go up again. Maybe not to the 13k that they used to cost but, they will go up in value a little.

was imba for PvE UW farming and thankfully got nerfed, despite cries of people who 'ejnoyed' it and made huge money out of it. Thankfully.

This is the same sh*t all over again, but even more overpowered! Permanent god mode skill is totally wrong and deserves immediate nerf.
